5 Easy Ways to Get Healthy in 2021

What a year?!

2020 redefined the phrase dumpster fire, and we are all carrying around the effects of that extra stress, anxiety and worry. But with each year comes new hope, and we can all agree that it’s looking like better times ahead.

With 2021 officially here, we’d like to share how we plan to up our health game this year.

Modifying your lifestyle can be a big goal to tackle, but we believe in progress, not perfection. Even the littlest things can make a big difference.

Here’s our plan:

  1. Chug water like it’s your job. Hydration helps flush out the bad stuff and keep your body running smoothly. According to the Mayo Clinic, you should aim for 124 ounces a day for men and 92 ounces per day for women. That sounds like a lot, but if you knock down a big glass first thing in the morning, you already have a head start.
  2. Don’t let the anxiety get the best of you. While everyone is excited to start a new year it can also be very overwhelming, especially for those suffering from anxiety. According to a 2019 study conducted by the Journal of American Pharmacists Association, CBD has a promising role as an alternative therapy in the management of anxiety disorders. So if you’re looking for ways to manage your anxiety in 2021, why not try CBD? Just think, one CBD tablet a day could help to change your outlook.
  3. Check out in order to check in. It’s easy to get stuck on the hamster wheel of work obligations and personal duties. And let’s be honest, we all could use a little less time on our phones. We are taking 5-10 minutes a day to step back in silence and zen out a bit with meditation, quiet, and our inner thoughts.
  4. Prep the body for wellness. We are committed to keeping CBD in our daily wellness regimen. Whether that’s taking a bit of tincture or a tablet with our vitamins or rubbing some CBD salve around our temples after a long day, we want to arm our bodies with everything we can to help cultivate calm and health in our lives.
  5. More nourishing foods, less late-night snack sessions. To get through 2020, we ate our feelings. All of them. But we can’t drown in Cheetos and Oreos forever. Making conscious choices around food and opting for healthier snacks and meals is a good thing. (No need to cut out treats permanently, just swap out an apple for a cookie from time to time.)

We hope you’ll join us as we commit to health and happiness in 2021!
